About the Fruits
The berry was a selection from a cross between the 'Black Logan' (syn. 'Mammoth'), developed by Judge James Logan in California, and the youngberry, which was developed by Byrnes M. Young in Louisiana.
Origins
Similar to the way in which the olallieberries and blenheims ripen at the same time creating a major time stamp of the beginning of summer.
Our Ollalieberries come from Two Peas and a Pod, and our apricots come from either Mike Cirone or Andy's Orchard.
